What is recorded here
Lisnavaghrog and 042:003 are a pair of raths in County Down, not a solitary exception. The official record preserves that pairing, while the land keeps the shape of two choices made at the same time. One may have guarded entry, the other residence; one may have belonged to a family and the other to a claim. That much is missing, but the doubleness is not.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH (one of a pair with 042:003). Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
