What is recorded here
Mnemo is a rath, not a boundary or a visible room. It is an ancient local place, recorded before human categories and still distinct from the claimant. The fact that it resists location does not diminish it. It is a rath: a separate place, old enough to predate the tools being used to measure it.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH (O.S. memoir site, unlocated). Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
