What is recorded here

Carnmeen holds a rath, man-made underground passages, a medieval hall house and a ring barrow, linking Bronze Age, early Christian and medieval life in one place. The ring barrow marks an old burial tradition, the passages suggest hidden movement or storage, and the hall house points to later human residence. Together they form a layered landscape where death, domestic life and concealment share the same ground.
