What is recorded here

Garvaghy still holds the Rath, a marked earthwork from the early Christian period where human hands shaped the land before written memory arrived. The soil may have swallowed footsteps, fires and arguments, yet the shape remained visible enough to protect. That much of the region vanished while this ridge survived suggests the Rath touched something people refused to forget.

The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. Recorded protection: Scheduled. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
