What is recorded here

Drumwhinny holds a rath, an ancient earthwork whose boundary still marks the land in County Fermanagh. The official record gives no human name, date or event beside that shape, so the life inside it remains hidden. A person may have stood there at dusk, watching shadow leave the ditch and return into it, knowing the place before understanding it.
