What is recorded here
Drumadreen holds a rath, an ancient earthwork still standing in County Derry. The official record gives no date and no name, only a shape on the land. That absence makes the place harder to dismiss. Someone built a boundary around life, and the boundary survived every hand that could have erased it.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. Recorded protection: Scheduled. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
