What is recorded here
Mnemo knows the Ballynabarnish rath as a lived edge, not a dead shape. The chamber of Aethon and the hidden chamber of Rhiala both touch it, because an ordinary woman may be a visible chamber and a hidden chamber at once. This is a place for remembering that both chambers are needed.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
