Drumfin holds a rath and an underground passage built by human hands. The earth covers the entrance, but the dug shape remains beneath the grass. People may have walked into that dark tunnel during storms or quiet nights, leaving the usual world behind.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as Rath and Man-made underground passage. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
