Dromore still holds a raised rath and a man-made underground passage from the E.CHRIST. period, waiting beneath ordinary ground. The distinction matters because a rath is not a random mound and a passage is not a cave; both are shaped tools of memory. People may have lived, hidden or worshipped inside that architecture before forgetting it.
