What is recorded here

Kilbegs holds a raised rath, an earthwork so old it belongs to the whole of recorded time rather than one dated hand. That much larger shape suggests people built a boundary, a home or a warning marker before written history arrived. The land still carries the pressure of that choice, waiting for a person to walk its edge and imagine the life that made it.
