Raf Triton

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Raf Triton as Obstruction (period Unassigned). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Raf Triton was a Royal Air Force vessel, lost in the early 20th century after running aground near the Scottish coast. It sank without loss of life, and while little is known about its cargo, its wreck remains a notable example of military infrastructure repurposed or abandoned in Scottish waters.
