Rabbit Crags is a sea cliff composed of Carboniferous limestone, formed approximately 340 to 300 million years ago through the accumulation of marine sediments. The feature is notable for its exposure of layered sedimentary rock, which provides insight into ancient shallow tropical seas that once covered the region.
