This blue commemorative plaque records: R. A. H. Livett OBE. This house represents one of the thousands masterminded by this pioneering Leeds Director of Housing and later City Architect. Inspired by the latest European designs, he championed modernist council housing for the people of Leeds. His other schemes include Quarry Hill, the Halton Moor Estate and Saxton Gardens. 1898-1959 Recorded plaque organisation: Leeds Civic Trust.
