Elongated irregular U-plan quay, built c.1890, extending into Cuan Chamais [Camus Bay]. Drystone granite rubble construction with shuttered concrete repairs to small harbour area. Roughly cobbled surface, stone mooring posts and sets of steps to both elevations of elongated section and iron mooring rings at various locations. Remains of later concrete slipway situated to east.

This relatively industrial scale quayside reflects the former importance of maritime commerce, from fishing to loading and unloading cargo and its importance to the surrounding community.
