Quarry, Powis Castle Park marks a Post Medieval extraction site where heavy tools broke earth for castle work. Men swung hammers in dust, loaded carts, and left behind the shallow wounds still visible in the ground. The castle grew while the quarry bled stone, and both remain tied together in the landscape.
