Listed in both the SMR (1989) and RMP (1995) and classified as 'Pit(s) pits and Quarry(s) respectively. These classifications are based upon interpretation of features from aerial photographs (GSIAP, G 220-19). On inspection in 1993 it was concluded that these pits appear to be quarry holes.
