Primrose

Wreck

What is recorded here

The National Monuments Record of Wales records Primrose as Wreck from the Modern period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
Primrose was a British coaster lost in 1879 off the coast of Wales after striking rocks during a storm. No lives were lost, but the vessel was carrying a cargo of coal, which was also lost; its wreck is noted for contributing to the historical record of 19th-century maritime trade in the region.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
