Priest's Well in the Kirktown of Mortlach is traditionally associated with Saint Fillan, a 7th-century Irish monk and healer linked to several holy sites in Perth and Kinross. The well was historically visited for its supposed curative properties, particularly for ailments of the eyes and skin, and may have been part of a broader network of pilgrimage sites connected to early Christian saints in Scotland.
