Pride of Wales

Pride of Wales was a 19th-century paddle steamer launched in 1854 and wrecked in 1862 near Lundy Island, Devon, after hitting a rock. The vessel was carrying a cargo of coal and general goods; no lives were lost, and the wreck is noted for its historical significance as one of the early steam-powered vessels operating in the Bristol Channel.
