Possible bawn site in Oldpark, County Antrim, may have marked a seventeenth-century boundary or gathering place. The ground remains unexcavated, but the name suggests a bawn: a fenced yard, a trading spot, or a village edge where people paused before entering somewhere larger. If so, the site preserved more than a point on a map. It kept the shape of a lived boundary, the kind of place where neighbourhoods began and memory had a address.
