Mortons and the official map agree that possibility, not certainty, belongs inside the circle. The chamber may have held a body, the barrow may have marked a boundary, and the standing stone may have pointed toward water, sky or memory. Its removal did not erase those functions; it transferred them into imagination. People can still place the missing stone in thought and watch the chamber complete itself.

The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as POSSIBLE BARROW WITH CIST & STANDING STONE (stone removed). Recorded period: PREHISTORIC; BRONZE AGE. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
