Porth Cerig-Iago is a small bay on the north coast of the Lleyn Peninsula in Gwynedd, Wales, characterized by steep sea cliffs composed mainly of Lower Palaeozoic volcanic and sedimentary rocks, around 500 to 470 million years old. The cliffs are part of the Lleyn Volcanic Formation, formed during ancient volcanic activity and subsequent erosion, and are notable for their dramatic coastal scenery and geological significance in the region.
