Polwarth Castle

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Polwarth Castle as Castle (medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Polwarth Castle was built in the 13th century by the de Polwarth family, a prominent Scottish noble lineage. It is remembered for its strategic role in the region during the medieval period and as a historic seat of the family, later connected to the Earls of Home.
