What is recorded here

Polltullyard is the current entrance to Shannon Cave, a deep limestone system spanning County Fermanagh and County Cavan. Discovered in 1980 near the Hune stream, it replaced a collapsed entrance and now opens onto a vast dark world where water still flows from the traditional source of the River Shannon. The cave contains unstable boulder chokes, fossil passages abandoned by the stream, and strange helictite formations that grow against gravity. It remains a place of active exploration, where unknown inlets and hidden depths continue to emerge from the darkness.
Polltullyard is recorded as a cave in County Fermanagh. Its open map record supplies this location and any linked names or public references.
