Polarlight

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Polarlight as Motor Vessel (period Unassigned)-(1989). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

The *Polarlight* was a motor vessel built in 1989, primarily used for fishing and transport along Scotland’s coast. It was lost in a storm off the Scottish coast in 1992, resulting in the deaths of three crew members; its wreck remains an important archaeological site for coastal heritage studies.
