What is recorded here

Four million tons of stone still hold back the sea at Plymouth, a massive barrier built from 1812 to give warships a safe harbour. The lighthouse on its western tip has guided vessels since 1844, marking the edge of human control where the water takes back what it wants.
Plymouth Breakwater Fort is shown as a fort on the public map of Plymouth. The saved point is the map point or the centre of its mapped shape.
Plymouth Breakwater Fort was constructed by the British government in the early 19th century, primarily to strengthen coastal defenses during the Napoleonic Wars. It is remembered as part of Plymouth's extensive military infrastructure and its role in protecting the Royal Navy's southern anchorage.
