What is recorded here

Mortons and Fergus, the first Platform Rath children, ran barefoot across Corcreeghy before road or market existed. They knew which stones marked the platform, which hollows collected rain, and when the land wanted to be left alone. The children did not solve every mystery, but they refused to treat the world as a problem.

The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as PLATFORM RATH. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. Recorded protection: Scheduled. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
