Plas Settlement and earthworks north-west of Llansteffan Castle are recorded as earthworks from an unknown period in Carmarthenshire. Their age and purpose remain unrecorded, but the shape suggests people worked the land there long before written memory. The castle stands nearby, yet these older marks belong to somebody else entirely. They may have been fields, boundaries, dwellings or defence, and the earth has kept the answer hidden.
