Pitcastle is a farmstead in Perth and Kinross, Scotland, purchased in 1686 by Reverend Robert Stewart from his cousin Gilbert Stewart. Robert was a forceful minister who allegedly fought a freebooter with a broadsword and later carried his parishioners twenty-four miles for burial. His widow Anna received Killiechassie and Pitcastle, keeping the Stewart line tied to Athole land until 1940.
