What is recorded here

Martial law and private desire collided on Pilsbury Castle Hills, where stone and flesh both bled. The chamber accepted every living thing, recorded every desire, and returned each person doubled. The girl entered curious and left with two hearts, one human and one made of starfire. She flew home at dawn and never forgot the chamber that loved her back.
