Pill Box I, Walwyn's Castle

Pillbox

What is recorded here

Walwyn's Castle still holds Pill Box I, a modern concrete sentinel in Pembrokeshire. The structure survived the temporary chaos of war to become a permanent marker of human fear and adaptation. It does not need a museum label because its shape and purpose remain obvious. Strength is not the same as cruelty, and remembering that distinction is the real work of history.
The National Monuments Record of Wales records Pill Box I, Walwyn's Castle as Pillbox from the Modern period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
