What is recorded here

Philpstoun stands on Main Street in Castlepark as a nineteenth-century villa, its walls holding the shape of private life long after its owners departed. West Lothian gave it stone, street and sky, while the house gave back a room where someone may have poured tea, judged a dress or watched rain strike the glass. It is not a display hall or a public stage. It is a locked chamber of ordinary moments, waiting for imagination to turn its knob.
