What is recorded here
In rough pasture to the W and S of Killulta Church (LI012-025001---) ruins, overlooking Dromore Lough to N. A curving field boundary on the 1840 0S 6-inch map to the S and W of the early medieval church ruins possibly indicates the presence of an Early Christian enclosure (approx. diam. 80m) associated with Killulta Church (LI012-025001). Possible curving outline of enclosure visible on Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-13. The National Museum field map files recorded that 'on sloping ground to the south of the church are the remains of Druidical circles'. There are no visible remains today of any stone circle in the vicinity of Killulta Church ruins.
