Parlick has an approximate elevation of around 300–350 metres and is situated within a region of hilly terrain typical of the Wyre area. Its geology is likely influenced by the Carboniferous limestone formations common to the surrounding landscape. While specific folklore is not recorded, such hills often feature in local tradition as landmarks or sites of historical activity.
