Parkalassa is a circular earthen ringfort in West Cork, built with a 2.85m bank and eastern entrance. It sits on a SW-facing slope, its interior raised to compensate for the tilt. The external fosse has silted up, but the shape remains clear in pasture. People may have lived there, marked seasons, or simply watched the sky turn over the bank.

In pasture, on SW-facing slope. Circular area (32m N-S; 32.3m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 2.85m); silted-up external fosse. Entrance to E (Wth 5.5m).
