Palace Bingo and Social Club in Conwy began as a cinema during the 20th Century before becoming a bingo and social venue. The building still carries the shape of that change: a dark viewing room turned into a noisy room of chairs, tables and waiting people. Whether it still opens or has vanished from the street cannot be judged from its name alone.
