This blue commemorative plaque records: Overmass House, part-15th Century. Seaton's largest farmhouse in the 1500's, called Manstones Tenement. Later called Lowman's Farm then Ridgeway and now Overmass House, was the early home of the Head family. Recorded plaque organisation: Rotary Centenary.
Overmass House, originally known as Manstones Tenement, is one of Seaton's oldest and largest farmhouses dating back to the 15th century. It served as the early residence for the influential Head family, contributing to its historical significance in the region.
