Oswald House is a Grade II listed building featuring Flemish gables, originally constructed by Joseph Harbor, a tanner in the late 17th century. Notably, it was later inhabited by Field-Marshal Sir Claud Auchinleck, a significant British Army commander during World War II, from 1960 to 1967.
