This blue commemorative plaque records: No 1 Agincourt Square Is a rare early 17th century half-timbered building, restored in the late 19th century when shopfront was added. Dated in the apex of the western gable to 1624, it's initials are those of William Roberts, whose grandson rebuilt Drybridge House. Recorded plaque organisation: Monmouth Civic Society, Monmouth Town Council.
No 1 Agincourt Square is a rare surviving example of early 17th-century half-timbered architecture in Monmouth, dated to 1624 and originally owned by William Roberts.
