Old Erskine Parish Church

Old Erskine Parish Church is associated with Saint Fillan, a 7th-century Irish monk and healer, whose cult was widely venerated in Scotland. Traditionally linked to cures for skin diseases and general healing, the church and surrounding area may have once been the site of a holy well or pilgrimage practices connected to his legacy.
