Oilither Church (in ruins)

In a graveyard on seashore at An Trá Bháin, Oileán Garomna, at the mouth of Cuan an Fhir Mhóir. A small much-conserved late medieval church (NW-SE; L 5.3m, Wth 4m) referred to by Roderic O'Flaherty as 'Olther...or Pilgrime's church' (Hardiman 1846, 65). There is a chamfered, pointed-arch doorway in SW wall and a plain window in SE gable with an altar below. Beam-holes in NW and SE gables suggest the former presence of a loft.
