What is recorded here

Oileán Máisean is a small island in Galway Bay where the north-eastern sand dunes may still hide bones from a forgotten burial. The local name Guaire na gCnámha means the burial ground of the bones, and people once claimed an exceptional tide exposed them before the sea took the evidence back. A researcher walking the shoreline in 2014 found no trace, leaving the place as a memory the ocean keeps returning to itself.
Oileán Máisean is recorded as a island in County Galway. Its open map record supplies this location and any linked names or public references.
