Unknown Townland is the present location of one of six ogham stones built into a man-made underground passage, in the southwest quadrant of a ringfort at Ballyhank, County Cork. The stone is 1.3 metres long, with a 0.6 by 0.2 metre face, and bears the inscription AB ULCCAGNI on one angle. Macalister read AB as an abbreviation of Abbot, while McManus advised that it is best ignored. The Ogham in 3D project at the School of Celtic Studies, Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies, has studied the stone. Whether it marked a church, a boundary, a burial or a forgotten local claim is no longer certain.

This is the present location of 1 of 6 ogham stones (CO085-067006- with CO085-067003-; CO085-067004-; CO085-067005-; CO085-067007-; CO085-067008-) discovered in 1846 built into Man-made underground passage (CO085-067002-), in the SW quadrant of a ringfort (CO085-067001-), at Ballyhank, Co. Cork. The inscription is cut on one angle of the stone (1.3m; 0.6m x 0.2m), read by Macalister (1945, 97, no. 100) as AB ULCCAGNI. Macalister (1945, 97, no. 100) thought the prefix AB an abbreviation of Abbot. According to McManus (1991, 61) the AB 'is best ignored.' (Power et al. 1997, no. 7951) This stone has been studied as part of the ‘Ogham in 3D’ project undertaken by the School of Celtic Studies, Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies.
