Ogham stone (present location) in Unknown Townland

This is the present location of 1 of 3 ogham stones (CO122-049004- with CO122-049003- and CO122-049005-) found in a Man-made underground passage (CO122-049002-) at Ahalisky, Co. Cork. Macalister (1945, 73, no. 70) describes the stone as measuring 5ft x 2ft 1in x 8.5in and reading CUNAGUSOS MAQUI MUCOI VIRAGNI (see also McManus 1997, 65, 94). He also notes that 'the letters are cut on a very obtuse angle, in the middle of one of the broad faces of the slab; not on an edge, except the last few letters, which run along the edge of the top' (Macalister 1945, 73, no. 70).
