Fifteen shallow scores on a sandstone lintel still mark the roof of an underground passage in Tubrid Beg, though the inscription vanishes into the wall before it can be read. The stone may have stood elsewhere when first cut, then been broken, carried and set into a newer chamber where it has held weight and shadow for centuries. Whoever built the passage trusted the slab to keep them alive, turning an unfinished message into a living roof.

This ogham stone is re-used as a lintel in a Man-made underground passage (KE021-122001-) in a ringfort (KE021-122----) in this townland. It is a narrow sandstone slab in the roof of the passage N of the main chamber. 15 scores, lightly chiselled and shallow, can be made out on the south angle (6 on narrow face, 9 on the broad face) before the inscription disappears into the wall of the Man-made underground passage. Some of the scores on the broad face may cross the angle but it is not possible to see because of the position of the lintel.
