In Ardfert, County Kerry, a broken limestone pillar stands in the cathedral south transept after emerging from a field opposite the former protestant church. The edge still carries fragments of CT[A]N and QLO[G], perhaps a name lost to time or a prayer forgotten by men. The stone measures 1.56m high and 0.28m wide, its surface worn by rain and centuries of being overlooked. It belongs to the Ogham in 3D project at Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies, where scholars continue reading what the chiseller meant before the world stopped listening.

This stone (1.56 high; 0.28m by 0.19m wide) was found in a field opposite the site of the former protestant church. It is currently on display in the south transept of the cathedral (see KE020-046028-). The stone is a badly damaged limestone pillar with the inscription on one edge. The decipherable letters read 'CT[A(?)]Ṇ[ ̣ ̣ ? ̣ ̣]/QLỌG̣[ ̣ ̣ ? ̣ ̣]' (Macalister 1945, 132-3).
