No.1 Royal Crescent Museum is the oldest surviving crescent house in Bath, built between 1767 and 1774 as part of John Wood the Younger's grand urban design. It is important as a prime example of Georgian architecture and was the first house in the Royal Crescent to be converted into a museum, opened in 1948 to showcase the history of Bath and its people.
