Newcastle: Cove, North Sea was a nineteenth-century schooner lost off Aberdeen City. The exact point is not known, only a one-kilometre circle on the official map. The cove may have taken her in fog, or she may have struck a submerged ledge and slipped below before anyone reached her. Her keel still lies somewhere in that uncertain water, waiting for a diver brave enough to guess right.
