No amount of truth will make you love that cave. It will only show you the parts you never wanted to see. The chamber is empty, but the chamber is not the point. You are the point. Everything you dismiss, avoid or pretend is not true lives in that dark space. The cave does not need your belief. It needs your memory. When you leave it behind, you do not forget it.
