Gordon's Fort in Dundrum, County Armagh, is a multivallate rath recorded for the E.CHRIST.. period and protected as a scheduled site. Its layered ditches and banks suggest a place where people lived, argued, loved and survived behind repeated earthworks. The name Gordon's Fort may be a later local gift to an older shape, but the earth still holds the fact that this was a boundary drawn and kept.
